Character Introduction: Luca - The Main Character

Tonight I'll be introducing our main character! 

Name: Luca 

Gender: Female

Orientation: Bisexual

Age: 21

Hair: Platinum

Eyes: Brown

Skin tone: pale peach tone 

Height: 5'6

As stated previously Luca lives on a Meteor Mining Station. She was born in space and for most of her life had never know the sun or breathed clean air. The status of her parents is unknown. She was just one of the hundreds of abandoned kids left alone on the massive station. From the moment she could work, that's all she did for years. Mining the meteors was had work, but it made her resilient. She managed to make some friends among her work crew, but the lifestyle wore her down. 

She has the outward appearance of s pessimist, but she's actually quite hopeful and trusting. She had an easy time making friendships, but a difficult time maintaining them. She can be described as stubborn to.a fault, and her goal oriented nature is as much a burden as it is a blessing, but she has a strong nurturing side. 

Each of the Space Knights correlates to one of the Greek words for love. Her word is Agape: Selfless Love. Her story Arc reflects this in her struggles changing drastically from survivor to savior as she is branded with a destiny she never asked for, but by her very nature can't refuse. 

Her artifact becomes a sword and shield, and she is granted unmatched strength. Her Artifact is unique in that she is plagued by visions that vary in level from helpful to traumatizing. All of them involve an unnamed young woman.

My personal favorite trait about Luca is her inability to to back down, though I'm still not sure if that confidence or stupidity driven .

Plot Introduction

Hello Friends,

I thought I'd use my first official post to explain the general plot idea I have for Magical Space Knight Lu-Lu. 

As the title suggests this will be a space adventure. A sort of mix of grunge sci-fi and pretty manga. It also seems to be taking a turn for more mature content and is probably going to more young adult focused. 

Our story starts with a planet  called Chasina. While there are a wide variety of planets and cultures, some built upon magic and others upon technology; The people of Chasina had managed to combine both. This made them powerful beyond imagination, but the High Queen was determined that the power would only be used for the good of all. Not only did Chasina flourish, but the surrounding solar system did as well. It was an era of great peace, however some of their neighboring systems wanted the power to themselves. Chasina was assaulted by enemies from all sides and we're overwhelmed. No one was quiet sure how they were defeated, but Chasina was destroyed and their artifacts scattered across space. 

Centuries have passed since the fall of Chasina, and it's history has been shrouded in myth an legend. A young woman named Luca is an ordinary person living on a meteor mining space station., Just one face among hundreds of others.  It's  not great but it's a living. When the station brings on a mysteriously glowing meteor Luca's work crew is the one put in charge of it. They had no way of knowing this piece of space rock was hiding a Chasinain artifact. All she does is touch it and she is plagued by terrifying visions of Chasina's destruction and a woman's voice, begging her to find the other artifacts. Luca ends up hospitalized and the meteor locked up. 

Enter stage left. A villian appears in warship, demanding to be given the artifact. Luca has no choice but to take the artifact and it fuses onto her body. With it's power she is able transfrom and fight off the villians attack. With artifact now a part of her and a mad man on the loose she has no choice but to collect the other artifacts and a rag-tag team of misfits along the way. 

Thats the general base of the story. I'll talk in more detail about character arcs and sub plots, but I thought this was a good start! Let me know what you guys think so far. 💜
